Ah yes – I now have twice the muscle mass than I did at this time last week.  We moved in, with a ton of furniture. There have been some incredibly late nights, a full week of 16 hour work days and a few bruises, but we made it.
So, here’s the plan – we’ve built a wall to make an ‘entrance way’ type feel for the first steps through the front door.  We’re going to put our logo on this wall. It’s going to look fantastic.

Karl spent the better part of this week building the wall with space for electrical, etc.  We have also been trying to work while shuffling around the masses of random decor spread around the room. (We finally have internet here too, phew).  I’ve included a couple of before/after shots so you can get a feel of the layout.  One looking in from the door, the other looking in from the windows:

As you can probably see by the bits and pieces of retro furniture, we’ve got a theme going on here.  I can’t wait to get everything in its place and clean! (drywall dust is not my friend).  Our awesome friend, Gavin, donated a kitchen cabinet for our kitchen area and the rest is meticulously picked piece by piece from local antique stores and thrift stores.

Now all that is left to do is organize and start working.  More photos to come
